The Pittman Innovation Award recognizes outstanding products in the sailing industry that are innovative in design and function. Named after the late Freeman K. Pittman, SAIL’s long-time technical editor who passed away from Lou Gherig’s disease in 1996, it is a prestigious annual award that is only given to a few products in a variety of categories. SAIL’s judges attend boat shows near and far to determine the winners, and we are proud to announce that the mazu mSeries all-in-one Satellite Comms has won a Pittman Innovation Award in the electronics category!
It is an immense honour to be recognized for all of the hard-work and dedication that has gone into creating the mazu system, and we are proud of our newest accomplishment. Our team would like to thank all of the judges, participants, organizers and contributors for holding this exciting competition!
